Okay, you've learned a lot in class with Fire & Light Glass, but now you want to play and put your skills to work. Open Glass Studio provides you with a working area and access to tools, saws, grinders etc. Open Studio provides limited instruction. Your creations can be fired and slumped here. You may bring your own glass or purchase glass at the time of use. Ask about fees and times. Must have taken classes with us or provide proof of capability.

Schools, Home Schools, Birthday Groups, etc, are welcome at Fire & Light Glass Studio.
Classes start at $25 each.
The right start will make all the difference to your success.
We will teach you how to cut glass, and cover the basics of fusing, discuss how glass behaves at different temperatures in the kiln, and create projects that relate to these temperatures.
We will introduce you to different kinds of glass, such as irridized, collage, even dichroic glass to use in your projects.
This is a fun, hands-on class where the projects include, pendants, four 4 X 4 suncatchers or tiles and an 8 X 8 faux weave plate.
Glasses meet once a week for 4 weeks with a total of 10 classroom hours. All materials, supplies, glass, instruction and firings are included in the class fee. Tools will be provided for use during class times.

INDOOR CHIME $40.00
2 hour class, materials included. All elements pre-cut. Make four pieces to fuse. Make a hanger to dangle your fused pieces from. Makes a beautiful suncatcher or mobil.
MAKING JEWELRY WITH GLASS $ 75.00
5 hour class. In two days, you will learn to make quick, wearable jewelry pieces using colored and dichroic glass.
STRIP WEAVE GLASS $75
Using a strip cutter, we will cut consistent striop of iridized glass and then arrange them on a base to make a woven like design that can be slumped into a dish.

6 HOUR CLASS. Cut strips of glass are double layered and arranged to create and old fashioned, grist mill design. The glass is fused and slumped into a bowl shape. $150
